[759] An early note gave location of death as Cass County Michigan; this is
incorrect. It is Cass County Indiana. Howard and Grant Counties were
formed from the parent county of Cass. I believe the Thomas familymoved
from the Carolinas into Wayne County area around Fountain City andthen
Elijah moved westward into what was then the Cass County area andsettled
in the Honey Creek area. New London is just north of Honey Creekwhich is
more of a church boundary than a political area. Honey Creek islocated
west of Russiaville, Indiana on hiway 26. Do not at this time knowwhere
the cemetery is located(19 July 1988).
